Haven't done anything creative in a while. Kicking myself for not taking pictures of the 4 Illuminated scrolls I turned in a few weeks ago.

Kinda depressed, but had some good stuff happen. My old Compact Presario was starting to die, lines across the screen which meant mechanical failure in the LCD itself. My loving husband who spoils me rotten then turned around and bought me a shiny new Dell XPS M1710. Yes, it runs on Vista, but guess what, it's not as bad as people think. Upgraded to 4gb ram and it's pretty much just like my old presario. Only noticeable difference is that my resolution is at an ungodly 1920x1200 (took a while to get used to the tiny fonts) and I now had dual monitors. Seriously. A friend of mine told me how to get those annoying "are you sure?" prompts to turn off, and everything is fine. Some people are just picky at the fact that XP does actually run faster than Vista on the exact same hardware. Vista has a bit of a learning curve though, but the changes actually impress me (anyone else love the dropdowns in the folder paths?)

I need to get back being creative again. Haven't checked to see if Apophysis is Vista compliant. Haven't picked up my paint brushes in forever. Haven't touched the dress of doom since before summer. I need to start writing again. Since starting to RP in NWN I've had my muse coming back. Some stories for it, but not a whole lot. I had started a good line of stories but the dramallama hit and now I can't finish it. Have another story floating around in my head, but again don't know how to go about writing it out. Mostly because the PW I'm playing on, well.. the character just vanished and I'm not sure if what i want to happen even can. I'm hesitant to contact a DM and run it past them, mostly because I want to let sleeping dogs lie.

Gods I hate the dramallama. RP groups tend to gather them like flies to a pile of shit. I could rant more, but I won't. I'm gonna head it off here. I'll see about getting Apophysis and being a biit more creative. Maybe post a story or two.
